I’ve been adding a few motifs to hexies on a scrappy blanket I go back to every now and again. Some I’ve used patterns for but others I’m making up as I go along and thought I’d share!
So first up is the candle!
Row 1: In candle colour, foundation DC 3 stitches (or chain 4, DC in the 2nd chain from hook to the end), turn.
Rows 2-8 Ch1, DC in each of 3 stitches. Fasten off candle colour.
Row 9: Join yellow in to middle stitch. 2DC in same stitch, turn.
Row 10: ch1, 2DC in 1st stitch, 1DC in 2nd stitch (3 stitches), turn
Row 11: ch1, 1DC, 2DC, 1DC, turn (4 stitches)
Row 12: ch1, 1DC in each of the 4 stitches, turn
Row 13: ch1, 1DC, DC2TOG, 1DC, turn (3 stitches)
Row 14: ch1, 1DC, DC2TOG, turn (2 stitches)
Row 15: ch1, DC2TOG, turn (1 stitch)
Row 16: 1DC.
Fasten off and attach to your hexie using your ends!
If you use this pattern please give it some love on Ravelry!
